Boost Personal Training specialises in personal training for recreational runners in Edinburgh and West Lothian and is proud to be working with the Meadows Marathon to provide their runners with a training programme for the challenge!

There is not long to go until the race day so it's now time to concentrate your training on getting the best results around the course while staying injury free!

The Boost Training Programme is based on 4 running sessions a week plus one gym strength session.

Each running session is different in nature and together they are designed to cement your stamina and build your speed, while the gym strength session is important to build your strength and power and help to prevent injury. It also provides a great variety to your training!

Here at the Meadows Marathon we welcome all standards of runner. Whether you’re trying a new distance or have never run at all – this is the event for you.

The Meadows Marathon course is largely flat which is ideal for beginners but also useful if you’re pushing for a personal best. We also provide entertainment to take your mind off the distance ahead and being a lap course you’ll see your friends and spectators several times during the race.
