You should have already received a registration code from your charity. Remember to have this at hand. You will also need to setup your fundraising – see below for details. Don’t have a code? See FAQ on the right for details.

How to fundraise
We would recommend setting up a page on our Work With Us site. This allows us to claim gift aid back for the charity on your behalf. It also has the added advantage of allowing your family and friends to sponsor you wherever they are in the world

Work With Us Help Guide is available to download which contains simple instructions on how to setup your Work With Us page.

Copies of sponsorship forms are available to download and printed. These can be useful if you are a little uncertain when it comes to modern technology or as a supplement to your online fundraising.
The Meadows Marathon is an ideal event for children and young people to get involved in their local community. With music, performance and even a Junior team event this will be an enjoyable day out whatever your age.

Due to government guidelines we must ask that all runners under the ages of 18 years are accompanied by an adult who will remain on the event ground for the duration of their run. In the case of children under 16 years we will require the signature of a parent or guardian in order for the runner to obtain their running number. We would suggest that all children under the age of 14 years are accompanied around the course by a participating adult. If you have any questions regarding the participation of Under 18s please contact mark@meadowsmarathon.org.uk

I want to run for charity. How do I do this?
Go to our charities page and select a charity you would like to run for. Contact their listed representative by phone or email to express your interest. They will issue you with a code which is requested on the registration form. Return your form either by online submission or by post and you will be registered to run for that charity.

The entry price for both the Half Marathon and 5Km is £15 per person. We believe by keeping our prices low we allow every member of the
community to take part. The registration fee is payable by debit/credit card online, by cheque via post or by cash in person at our registered office

The deadline for online applications is 12 noon on Monday the 1st of March 2010 but we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as only 1,200 places are available.

The Meadows Half Marathon is open to anyone who thinks they will be able to run 13 miles regardless of their standard of running. We would ask you to be sensible about your entry, however, and if you have a condition which may affect you or if you think perhaps the run may be detrimental to your health then it would not be advisable to take the risk. We would advise consulting your physician then perhaps considering the shorter distance of 5Km instead. Only you know how fit you are so please do not do anything which may endanger your wellbeing.
