Meadows Marathon returned on
Sunday 3rd March 2024.

We can't wait to see you in 2025!

Initiated in 2007, the Meadows Marathon is an annual student-run event held in The Meadows in Edinburgh to raise funds for charity. Since its inception, the Meadows Marathon has raised over £238,000.

793 trees have been planted through our partnership with Trees not Tees over the past 4 years!

Meadows Marathon is an initiative of Edinburgh Students’ Charities Appeal (ESCA).

Each academic year, beneficiary charities are chosen and a percentage of all proceeds are split between them. Participants in ESCA's sponsored events, including Meadows Marathon, are encouraged to fundraise for them. Applications open in the summer and are shortlisted and voted for by the Board of Trustees.

This year, we are delighted to have chosen:

Fresh Start and Pilton Community Health Project.

If you work for a charity and would like to be considered for support next year then click below to register your interest and you will be notified when applications open.
